Drawing from a base of around 1,400 companies, a total of 687 were surveyed by _Fortune_. Only those that scored in the top half of their industry survey were included in the Most Admired Companies roster.
CBRE scored especially well in service quality, innovation, global competitiveness, and social responsibility among companies in the real estate sector.
In addition, the firm was named the No. 1 commercial real estate brand in ""Lipsey Company's"":http://www.lipseyco.com/ annual brand survey for the 12th consecutive occasion. The survey measures commercial real estate professionals' perceptions of the industry's leading brands.
