In Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, ServiceLink has appointed a new company leader, naming Kevin Coop as EVP of enterprise strategy. In his new role, Coop will head up business development for ServiceLink's originations and default sales teams, as well as coordinating the company's marketing group and product development strategy team.

Pennsylvania's GMH Mortgage Services LLC announced the addition of Bill Bogle as SVP of capital markets. Bogle has worked in the mortgage industry for more than 15 years, having served most recently at New Penn Financial as VP of secondary marketing.

Rep. Jeb Hensarling (R-Texas) has been elected chairman of the House Financial Services Committee. Hensarling replaces Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-Alabama) who headed the committee for the past six years.

Supreme Lending, a Dallas-based nationwide mortgage banker with branches throughout the country, announced Brian Mitchell is joining the team as its new SVP and national sales manager. Mitchell is a 20-year veteran mortgage banker, having worked most recently as regional VP for Envoy Mortgage.

Prospect Mortgage, LLC, announced the appointment of Michael J. Williams, former president and CEO of Fannie Mae, as chairman of its board of directors. Prospect Mortgage is a top-10 originator of home purchase loans, offering conventional, jumbo, super-jumbo, Federal Housing Administration, and Veterans Affairs mortgages as well as home renovation loans.

In California, WFG Lender Services (WFGLS) is welcoming a new senior leader. The title insurance and real estate services company recently announced that Jason Schmidt has been named SVP of closing operations.

After serving as chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for nearly four years, Mary L. Schapiro announced Monday she will step down on December 14. Schapiro was appointed as chairman by President Obama in January 2009 and was sworn in by the end of the month after receiving unanimous confirmation from the Senate.

David D. Page has joined Stewart National Title Services as a business development officer for its office in Houston, Texas, the company announced.

JPMorgan Chase's leadership team is undergoing a few changes: The bank announced that effective early next year, Marianne Lake will be stepping into the role of CFO. Meanwhile, current CFO Doug Braunstein will become vice chairman of the company.

Markarian has more than a decade of experience in the field of information technology and has held management-level positions in QA and process improvement for more than 10 years.
