Promoting from within, SunTrust Mortgage Inc. is set to strengthen its internal structure. Both Debi Minton and Jeff Calvert were recently named as assistant vice presidents with the Georgia-based financial institution. Minton, hired by SunTrust in April, boasts more than 23 years of finance-related experience, and additionally, she├â┬ó├óÔÇÜ┬¼├óÔÇ×┬ós spent over eight years within the mortgage lending space, prior to her promotion.

Prudential Mortgage Capital Company has added a loan officer to its mid-Atlantic, southeast, and southwest regions with the hiring of Scott Heath. Based in the company├â┬ó├óÔÇÜ┬¼├óÔÇ×┬ós Atlanta office, Heath will serve as an originator of commercial, mortgage-backed loans for securitization by newly-formed Liberty Island Group.

Sperlonga Data and Analytics welcomes Brent Stokes as its choice for the company├â┬ó├óÔÇÜ┬¼├óÔÇ×┬ós newly created position of senior vice president. Stokes brings veteran experience earned over a 26-year career in the mortgage industry to his new role, which encompasses Sperlonga├â┬ó├óÔÇÜ┬¼├óÔÇ×┬ós homeowners association-oriented programs for lenders, investors, servicers, and other stakeholders.

Newark-based Prudential Mortgage Capital Company announced Thursday the return of one Curtis Brunton to an originations principal position at the firm's San Francisco location. After serving in a past role with Prudential, leaving it for another lender, and now returning to his old haunts, Brunton will originate commercial mortgage-backed securities with funds from a number of securitizing companies. Bruton will work with a more recently announced joint venture with Liberty Island Group, an affiliated fund of Perella Weinberg Partners' asset-based value strategy.

Churchill Mortgage Corp. named a new face to its Brentwood-based call center branch in Tennessee. The mortgage lender made the announcement that it had put forward Kevin Watson as the new manager of the call center. According to a statement released by the mortgage lender, Watson arrives in his role with some 20 years of mortgage banking experience.

California-based Landmark Mortgage Group marked another success Tuesday as it announced its expansion to a new branch, its fourth in less than two years, according to a statement. As part of the expansion, Landmark Mortgage will also hire new manager Linda LaGrasso, a Brentwood native, and mortgage advisor Kathy Mertens.
